Cost of Attendance

Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of a student’s average cost for an academic year. Cost of attendance is made up of two different types of costs:

Direct Costs are items that will be billed to you by PTI.

Indirect costs are estimated costs associated with attending PTI and will not appear on your bill. 

Examples of indirect costs are as follows:

Books & Supplies – estimated costs for books, supplies, laptop tools, etc.

Living Expenses – estimated rent, utilities, and food.

Transportation – vehicle costs, parking, etc.

Miscellaneous – personal hygiene, laundry and other.

Estimated costs for living expenses, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses were established using the Washington Association of Student Financial Aid 2024.2025 approved budget. These costs will vary by individual student situations.
