AET 141 Powertrain Theory II

This advanced course covers the operation, diagnosis, service, and repair of automatic transmissions, manual transmissions, hydrostatic transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, axles, and final drives. Instruction includes the theory of torque, power flow, and procedures for maintenance and repair. Students develop the ability to inspect components, identify malfunctions, perform diagnostic procedures, and carry out repairs and adjustments to ensure proper system operation.
