This Cisco Networking course teaches students the skills pursue entry-level network installer jobs. It also helps students develop some of the skills to become network technicians, computer technicians, cable installers, and help desk technicians. It provides a hands-on experience to end devices, switches, and other networking devices commonly found in home and small business environments. It provides a hands-on experience to end devices, switches, and other networking devices commonly found in home and small business environments. An introduction into the Linux operating system is also covered introducing the student to the directory structure, and command line tools. Students will become proficient in installing, configuring, and securing Linux packages, users, groups, directories and files.
