Parking Policy
All vehicles on campus must be registered with Perry Technical Institute and display a parking permit at all times.
Vehicle Registration and Permits
All vehicles on campus must be registered with Perry Technical Institute and display a parking permit at all times. One free permit will be issued to each student at no cost. A $3 fee will be charged for a replacement or additional permit. A single permit can be displayed in multiple vehicles, as long as all vehicles are registered with Perry Tech. Temporary permits are available at no cost. A parking permit will expire upon a student’s withdrawal, dismissal, or graduation from Perry Technical Institute.
Carpooling
Perry Tech offers premier carpool parking spots to students carpooling to school. A carpool is two or more Perry Tech students arriving to school in one vehicle. Students must register to carpool within their MyPerryTech account, if interested. Students must bring their parking permit to the Facilities & Safety Department to be validated. Only current students with validated permits are authorized to park in premier carpool parking, which is identified by signs in the student parking lots.
Premier carpool parking may be increased, decreased, or relocated at any time based on student enrollment, event parking, or any other relevant reason. In such cases as event parking, where Perry Tech must reserve upfront parking for guests, premier carpool parking will be relocated to the next available parking row.
