Smoking/Tobacco Products
Due to the acknowledged hazards from exposure to environmental tobacco smoke, it is the policy of Perry Technical Institute to provide a tobacco-free environment for all students, employees, and visitors. Smoking and other forms of tobacco use are permitted in designated areas only. The designated areas are located at the northwest end of the main campus and the northeast end of campus, near Plath Hall. This policy covers the smoking of any tobacco product, the use of electronic cigarettes, and the use of smokeless or “spit” tobacco. Smoking areas are subject to change at any time.
